Maintenance
Consumed continuously to keep the facility running. Starve it and it degrades.
SuppliedThe briefing boards update in real-time, tasking orders flowing through encrypted channels. Every contract has clear objectives, threat assessments, and prompt payment.
StarvedWhen the network holds. Communications are spotty, briefing boards displaying stale intelligence. Orders arrive late or contradictory, and payment processing has fallen behind.
Upgrade Chain
Crimson Fleet Command has no upgrade path — it is built once, at this level.
Lore
Fleet Command doesn't post 'requests' — it issues tasking orders. Contractors receive the same briefing format as enlisted personnel: objective, threat assessment, rules of engagement. Payment is prompt and fair, because the Fleet learned centuries ago that mercenaries who aren't paid become enemies. Failure to complete an accepted contract results in a note in your file. The Fleet has a long memory.
