Maintenance

Consumed continuously to keep the facility running. Starve it and it degrades.

SuppliedEvery Last Warning in the Rim's patrol wing is launch-ready. Ammo stacked. Tanks full. The incendiary rounds are reserved for the situations that need them, and those situations are handled decisively. The fleet commander's standing brief is four words: 'Ready on short notice.'
StarvedIncendiary round reserves are depleted and antimatter containment cells are running short. Three patrol ships are grounded pending resupply. The fleet commander's brief is now four pages and the Marshal is personally reviewing every word.

Upgrade Chain

Patchwork Fleet Command has no upgrade path — it is built once, at this level.

Lore

The Patchwork Fleet Command looks like the rest of Frontier: improvised, functional, and held together by stubbornness. The commander's station is a repurposed navigation console with a direct channel to every Last Warning in the patrol wing. No formal chain of command, no operational planning cycle — just a manifest, a ready board, and the standing principle that any patrol ship not launch-capable within five minutes is a maintenance failure, not a scheduling issue. The antimatter containment cells for the salvage reactor are the real chokepoint: they feed the reactor that fuels everything. When they run short, the math gets brutal fast.
