Fabricate Gold Circuit Boards

Lay conductive traces directly onto a ceramic substrate with gold film instead of etching a silicon wafer — the first fully silicon-free fabrication route. It pours three units of gold into every batch and runs slow, so no foundry bothers while silicon is cheap; once a shortage drives the wafer price high enough, the gold line becomes the only board worth building.
