Lightweight Titanium Alloy

An aluminum-extended forging process. Lightweight aluminum panels and steel carry most of the structure, with titanium added only where strength is critical — using a third of the titanium of a standard forge. Cheap and available anywhere, but the blending of dissimilar metals takes longer.
