Accretion

The Accretion-class does not scoop gas so much as inhale it. The organic collection membrane extends from the hull like a vast translucent lung, and pilots suspect the membrane channels some of the nebula's energy directly into the shield grid — the Accretion runs the strongest shields of any gas harvester in production. Twin harvester arrays and the deepest fitting budget in its class give pilots more room to customize than any competitor. Non-Voidborn engineers who have examined the membrane describe its structure as "disturbingly pulmonary."
