Cold Comfort

Cold Comfort looks exactly like what it is: industrial ice saws, thermal heaters, and cargo pods welded onto a hull frame with structural bracing that a Solarian engineer would condemn. It works. Speed 2 gets it to ice fields before competitors, the saws cut chunks free fast, the heaters crack them into manageable pieces, and the cargo pods hold seven hundred and eighty units of roughly-processed ice product. Refinement quality is "adequate." The Rim doesn't have time for precision cryo-extraction — the frontier needs coolant and fuel, and Cold Comfort delivers both.
