Crimson Stiletto

The Crimson Fleet doesn't send scouts to explore — it sends them ahead of the assault force. The Stiletto is the fastest ship in the T1 lineup, armed with an autocannon and armored well enough to survive first contact. Its integrated scanner catalogs threats at range that most ships can't match, and the limited fuel tank is a feature: the Stiletto operates close to the fleet, not beyond it. Scout pilots in the Crimson Fleet are respected for going in first and quietly suspected of insufficient aggression for coming back at all. The best ones provide intelligence so good the follow-up force arrives already winning.
