Crucible

The Crucible-class produces refined materials that exceed Confederacy purity standards — which are already the strictest in known space. The mobile refinery processes raw ore through seven sequential purification stages, each monitored by independent quality-control sensors. Output materials are stamped with unique batch identifiers and accompanied by a certificate of analysis. Rejected batches (anything below 99.97% purity) are recycled automatically. The waste heat recovery system was nominated for three engineering awards.
