Cryoclast

The Cryoclast-class applies military-grade thermal systems to ice extraction and processing at capital scale. The thermal lances operate at temperatures that liquify ice formations in seconds, and the refinery systems separate the resulting melt into fuel components, coolant, and rare crystalline materials. The Fleet needs coolant for weapon systems, fuel for fleet operations, and the Cryoclast produces both in quantities that keep a battle group operational indefinitely. The hull armor doubles as thermal shielding — the extraction systems generate enough waste heat to damage nearby ships.
