Endowment

The Endowment-class is what the Federation builds when the Reserve is not enough. Three times the bunkerage of its predecessor, plus pressurized cargo holds for fuel resale, makes the Endowment less a tanker than a mobile market. Each Endowment captain holds standing pricing authority and a Federation-issued tariff manual whose preface notes that prevailing local conditions are the Federation's preferred guidance. Stranded pilots in deep space have left reviews that the Federation customer relations division formally classifies as feedback. The shield booster is fitted by default. The corporate position is that the Endowment is never overcharging — only catching up on the margin its competitors have left on the table.
