Floor Price

The Federation offers the Floor Price to pilots who point at the standard hauler catalog and say "cheaper." Four hundred and twenty units of effective cargo — nearly double the Dividend — for a build cost that barely registers on the procurement spreadsheet. The tradeoff is structural: vestigial shields, a single point of armor, and Speed 1 — the last to arrive at every station, every time. No weapon mounts, no defense slots, no utility slots to add later. What the pilot gets is a seat, a throttle, and the second-largest hold available at any tier. The accounting department named it, approved it, and moved on to the next line item.
