Six weapon mounts is an absurd number to bolt onto a frame this size, and the Fleet did it anyway. Every kilogram of tonnage that a sane shipwright would have spent on armor went instead to power conduits, ammunition feeds, and the reinforced spars needed to keep the recoil from tearing the hull apart. What is left over to protect the crew is, generously, an idea. A single clean hit from anything serious ends the Juggernaut and everyone aboard it. The trade is deliberate. For the length of an engagement the Juggernaut throws out more fire than ships twice its mass, and the Fleet has decided that a few seconds of that output is worth more than a long career of caution. Captains who fly it understand the arithmetic: kill the target before the target kills you, because the Juggernaut was never given a second chance to fall back on. The doctrine for a damaged Juggernaut is not "retreat." It is "fire faster."
