The Ledger is what a faction issues once it has stopped doing its trading on a wing and a prayer. It is still the simplest thing that flies: a cargo hull, an engine, and a pilot — but the pilot rides inside a sealed cabin, there is real plating between them and the void, and the frame holds together when something clips it on the way out of dock. It mounts no shields, no weapons, and not a single module slot, because none of that is the point; the point is moving four hundred and eighty units of someone else's goods and arriving to be paid.
