Recursion

The Collective built the Recursion to answer a question the other empires didn't think to ask: what happens when a Voidborn ship stops being patient? The additional weapon mount and faster hull make it the most aggressive platform the Collective has fielded — still shielded, still regenerating, but closing distance and pressing attacks instead of waiting for them. Pilots describe combat in the Recursion as "being on the other side of the conversation for once." The name refers to the engagement loop: approach, fire, regenerate, approach again. Each pass refines the targeting solution. The enemy's defenses do not receive the same iterative improvement.
