Silent Tide

The Voidborn do not announce fleet movements. They consider the announcement itself a tactical failure. The Silent Tide-class carries six ships with an integrated cloaking field strong enough to mask the whole formation — hull signatures, engine wash, navigational emissions. The Collective reviewed three operations compromised not by Voidborn vessels, but by the emission trails of their escorts. Their conclusion was that the problem was having escorts at all. The Silent Tide resolves this by becoming the escort, the carrier, and the point of first contact simultaneously — a single hull where there was previously a formation, carrying inside it the formation that was never there. What is not there cannot be detected.
