Spit and Prayer

An oversized fuel tank lets the Spit and Prayer reach gas clouds in dead-end systems that other harvesters can't round-trip to. The default afterburner is there for when the neighborhood gets unfriendly — Rim pilots treat it like a reserve parachute: comforting to have, expensive to use. The hold is small for a T2 harvester, and compression storage only goes so far — that's the price of an engine bay built for escape velocity. You don't send a Spit and Prayer to fill a station. You send it to find the cloud nobody else can reach, and it comes back with just enough to make the trip worth arguing about.
