Survey Vessel

Eighty-five jumps on a single fuel load. The Survey Vessel exists because the Federation asked a simple question: what if a wormhole dumps you on the wrong side of the galaxy? Every other explorer relies on there being a station within range. The Survey Vessel doesn't. The massive fuel reserves and expedition-grade cargo hold mean a Federation wormhole survey team can transit an unknown wormhole, catalog whatever's on the other side, fill the hold with samples and trade data, and fly home the long way if the wormhole collapses behind them. The comfortable crew quarters remain a practical decision — panic makes poor surveyors.
