Event Horizon Alloy

A shard of a Gorgonia's skeleton — darksteel and fury-crystal fused under the tidal stress of a black hole's edge into a lattice that should not hold together and does. It is faintly warm, and faintly heavy in a direction that isn't down. There is exactly one place in known space it comes from, and only so much of the coral that grows it.
