Scrap Harpoon

Outer Rim whaling harpoon: a barbed scrap-iron spike on a winch cable, fired heavy and slow to punch through hide and stick. The barb means it bites past armor, and the winch reels it back for the next throw, so it never runs dry. Built to bring down cloud-whales — too slow and too short-ranged to be much use against anything that shoots back.
