The Patchwork's idea of a law enforcement headquarters. The Marshal answers to nobody except the Patchwork Council, and the Council has better things to worry about. This is considered an ideal arrangement.

Consumed continuously to keep the facility running. Starve it and it degrades.

SuppliedThe Marshal's tactical display covers the whole system — or the parts worth covering, which the Marshal decides personally. Last Warning interceptors launch on the Marshal's word alone. The brig is small because sentences in the Rim are short. So are the trials.
StarvedAmmunition supplies are stretched. The tactical display has dead zones the Marshal pretends don't exist. Interceptor readiness is down to two ships, and the Marshal has started flying patrol personally — which is either reassuring or alarming, depending on who you ask.
